MMRC Global is an international humanitarian organization providing specialized medical assistance to under-served populations in Ecuador where services are unavailable due to logistical or economic circumstances.
MMRC: HMB Project Objectives
- Identify the greatest needs for medical/surgical intervention
- Design humanitarian medical aid projects, to fill in the these needs.
- Obtain necessary financial and material support to complete the medical or surgical interventions deemed most viable
- Bring in expertise and manpower of international medical professionals
- Perform 2,000 surgeries within the first six months in cooperation with Hospital Madre Berenice
- Empower and train the hospital staff in order to continue the program indefinitely without MMRC management.
Organizational Structure:
MMRC Global core base is made up of both medical and administrative volunteers, which vary from 4-100 personnel during the course of any given project. On the organizational side a small group comprised of 7-10 dedicated individuals discuss, plan, and organize missions while living in target area.
