First of all, thank you for all of your support. I feel that saying thank you can't even begin to express the way I feel about the outpouring of help I see coming in to assist us. And yet there is still much I don’t see. I could have continued working in Haiti and would’ve been happy even though no one knew I was there. Waggoner co-founded Materials Management Relief Corps (MMRC), a nonprofit corporation that provides humanitarian aid to the people of Haiti in response to the January 2010 earthquake. Waggoner is accused of kidnapping a child despite undeniable evidence that the child in question had died at Haitian Community Hospital on February 23, 2010, while Waggoner was organizing supplies at the hospital.
